I took this quiz at Blogthings today, entitled "What's Your Medieval Profession", and was pleasantly surprised at the answer! (Alas, poor Yoric... I knew him well):
You Are a Playwright |
You are also a natural storyteller. You can turn a mediocre anecdote into a riveting tale. You find people and all aspects of life fascinating. No topic is off limits for you. In modern times, you would make a good filmmaker or novelist. |
Take it, and tell me how it worked for you. :-)

Huh! It turns out I'm a cartographer. So, if you ever need to know geographical stuff for your stories, you know who to call...
Actually, Zita, if you were a cartographer in the Middle Ages, you'd probably be a monk (nuns weren't allowed to touch anything as valuable as ink or vellum) and somehow I just don't think a monastery would fit your personality. :-)
What's Your Medieval Profession?
You Are a Messenger
You are a great communicator and quite persuasive too.
And to be honest, your also a bit of a gossip. You like to know what's going on with people.
You can deliver almost any message to anyone, and they'll take it better coming from you.
In modern times, you would make a good journalist or diplomat. Also, you'd make a great aerobics and yoga instructor...and a fabulous bride...in fact, you should try it a number of times... So, now we know... Love, Bride-To-Be-Revisited
Nice one, Terri!
I'm a Messenger too *g*. Me, as a diplomat, though, is too funny for words!
Wonder how my yearning to be a fighter pilot fit into all that?!
Dear Bride-To-Be-Revisited,
Not sure about the diplomat part, but the "communicator" part describes you to a tee!
There's should've been something in there about persistence for you - "if at first you don't succeed (at marriage), try, try again!"
A fighter pilot, Anna? Is there anyone in particular you'd like to drop a few bombs on?
Don't answer that. :-)
A rival hockey team? Someone who rejected my books? I think I'll plead the Fifth on that one, Terri ;)
I'd enjoy watching the other pilots play volleyball like in one of my favourite scenes from Top Gun.
messenger for me
Did you think "messenger" was accurate, Sue?
